Explain your Nick / Gaming Handle

My original nick was GamerGirl, yeah how generic. Eventually I didnt want to go advertising I'm a girl gamer, I'm a girl gamer, so I picked AchtungBaby which is an album name of my favourite band U2, which means caution or warning, baby. Have been using it since I joined here in 2010.

Originally it was just Buzz
so heres how i got it:

At a friends Lan one day we were all playing CS 1.6, i didnt have a nick so i just used my name....

After taking a break one of my mates decided to jam a game of CS 1.6 with BOTS, so me being me i decided that perhaps i should join under a random alias, the bots had some real random names so i decided hec lets go with Buzz, needless to say my friend was like, this freaking Buzz bot its super clever....

Now the OG, the OG i used for many reasons the main one being the other Buzz's i had come across, nwo what does OG stand for?

My Nick / Gaming Handle comes from my lifelong Nickname growing up. My name is Garth but in coloured tongue my friends always just used to call me Gaat or Gaaty. It stuck. That's why I use GaaTY for my gaming handle.

Garth Vader seemed cool at one point, but it probably wouldn't have been very original :D
 
Lets see, Wyvren was the original spelling of my nick since about 1994ish (IRC days). It was a misspelling that I decided to keep at that point since I was to lazy to register my nick under the correct spelling. Since then have been using variations of Wyv, Wyvren and so forth for all my online and gaming personalities.
 
Mmm I mainly use 2.

One being GodLike from my Unreal tournament and Counterstirke days :D (yes I was just that damn good lol)

Other being Pancakes, Dated a girl a few years back and that was her nick for me xD although I wasn't fond of using it on public gaming servers ect, I started not giving a shit what other people thought, so now that's become my gaming name/handle

As for the forum name The Joker. Comes from my obsession with Batman and The Joker of course.
 
I have a second name that I use only in the direst of times, when the sun eclipses and blood rains down upon the Earth, I cannot, for obvious reasons tell any of you what it is
 
Since arcade time I have used BFG when you could only have 3 letters in your name, thats before I heard that its a gun in Doom.
Used it since about grade 12. Then I read a few intresting books about a guy called waco so I changed it to waco and to be the oppesite of who I am in real live I added the Crazy/Crz on the start of my names.

Mmmm, my nick came from the movie Starship Troopers... (yeah yeah...was young and the chick did it for me ;) )

The one girl's nick (Dina Meyer if i remember correctly) was Dizz and I was 16 at the time...

yar, I 'm on there - used to be a regular at OC theo marais for a long time.
Haven't been in aaages though, only been to the velodrome twice.

PolisieP3rd remind my nou aan dai oooooooou cartoon wat op tv gespeel het, Brave Star. Hyt so n rebotic hover perd gehad wat hy gery het. En hy was soort van die "polisie" in dai stuk :P

Tooken.. Haha, well..back in the day, when I was a naughty boy, my mate and I were pretty damn baked, playing CSS. Somehow, when we killed someone, we ended up saying tooken instead of taken. I had such a lag when I heard it the first time, but yeah, you kinda had to be there :D

SkyRambo is my main alias that I use in-game though. I like taking chances in the BF choppers.
