F1 2013

Well its been years since I even considered a driving simulator , last I thing was GT4
and wow the bad habbits we pick up in other racing games really dont cut it on simulators and it is unforgiving
and after months of trying to find that right game to get the thirst back , F1 2013 is it
the Graphics is remarkable and the feel and feed back is exceptional .Add to that the details of crowds and track and you have a superb game that handles so very well the controls are easy to get used to with the right amount if intricacy .

As a race fan (well sometimes ) I think this game should get an 8 /10

has anyone else bought it , and or is up for a match up (well in a few weeks once i've progressed on my licence )

This game does look really nice I must say. I have always loved racing games. And I've always loved F1 as well. I am thinking of getting this as well once it is out.

i think its finally time for me to move on from 2011, never switched to 2012 cause the new f1 cars looked a bit wonky

Saw the PS3 version for sale at the BT Games stand at Rage

I saw that also so who knows. I'm still pissed at those dipshits after yesterday. They had a promotion, pre-order watch dogs and get a usb stick and AC IV for a keychain, but I pre-ordered in April to get the collectors and paid a R200 deposit. However to get the extras at rage I need to pre-order the standard editions (since collectors are all reserved now) and place another R100 down a piece to get the extras. WTF

so back on topic, plated F1 2013 yesterday, love the graphics but I never got a chance to really test the game nicely

Got to have a go with this at rAge. The game sure does look the part, and the handling did feel quite nice, but that was with a steering wheel mind you. From the small part playable at rAge, I just couldn't get any real "I must have this" feeling of the game. It's fun, but I'll wait until it's in a bargain bin or on special.

I played a little bit of it. Was actually impressed; the only thing stopping me from getting it was the fact that it's still formula 1 racing which isn't really my scene.

I love F1, always have, I have F1 2011, which is better than 2010, not better than 2012, but 2013 comes at a time where I'm busy clearing up all my old games so I can get ready for next-gen, so I guess I'll have to wait till the 2014 edition comes out, would've loved to play the classic races though....

This game is just WAY too expensive. It seems the same as last years game except for the ability to do "classic" race which by and large seems to be DLC. If that was included in the original version then I'd buy it, but I feel cheated by this game otherwise.

I admittedly did not play F1 2012 so I wouldn't know. But I enjpyed this installment. Seems to be an issue at large with annual release Sports Titles where it feels simply like the previous year's game with some polish.

I won't call this a sim. Actually it's not close to a sim.
Bought it and played a bit so can't comment on F1 2013 but the bit I raced was a lot of fun.

My gripe with the Codemasters F1 series is the pricing. You can get Game Stock Car 2013 for under R300. And it includes Formula Reiza (F1 cars but can't use the name), V8 Stock Cars, GoKarts, an old Opala stock car and then the comaro's. Proper sim that is just epic to drive.

BUT, I got F1 2013 for the co-op championship type stuff and it's good for a quick race fix if you have limited time.

I disagree, this game is as close to an actual race as you can get. A race is not just about those 60 laps but the entire weekend and every other racing game fails in that regard.
