Fallout 4 countdown clock appears, runs out tomorrow

My suspicions are: they will reveal that Fallout 4 is a thing, but we'll not see any game play or real cinematic trailer. That will come at E3 during the Bethesda conference. But this teaser and this reveal will ensure that the Bethesda conference will be one of the closely followed and most viewed conference of the lot. Smart move from them.

The thing with Fallout is; it's such a great and anticipated title they don't even need to show any trailers, teasers or gameplay. Bethesda can literally reveal it the first day at E3 and announce the release date the same day and they'll sell millions of copies, the franchise is that solid!

Yes indeed it is, but correct me if I'm wrong, but this will be the first conference that Bethesda is doing at E3. So it makes sense to an extent that they will make small reveals of huge titles to draw in the masses and make the conference worth while. Though they have some pretty spectacular titles up for show at E3, I think from a business perspective they need to pull in masses and make their first show a success.

Kinda agree and disagree here. Yes, iirc this will be Bethesda's first conference. They undoubtedly will give small teasers and tastes of what's to come to generate hype, we all know publishers love this and to gauge their figures. But remember, Bethesda is a massive publisher and father to plenty child companies, they have their fingers in plenty pies, they don't need to pull in the masses. If they said, "here's Fallout 4" without a hint of it being a possibility it will sell millions on the very first day. And that just Fallout!

2 more hours until the big reveal..... HD version of fallout 1 and 2 and tactics... wouldn't that just be sad
