Fallout 4

but but but.. mods.. and you can always plug your pc into the tv :p and you can put the couch by your pc or you can even get a controller :D

1) Mods are awesome, but sometimes prove game breaking, both in terms of technical issues as well as ruining experience
2) physical logistics render this impossible :(
3) have a controller and play almost all games with it :)

i think im leaning towards XBONE. I am a heathen who cannot really distinguish between 30fps and 60fps. and Falluot with VATS renders this a moot point anyway. plus i get Fallout 3 for free with xbone version :)

What's this about Takealot's new delivery date? Their site says due date for delivery is 16 November. Wonder if it's cause they sold all their allocated pre-orders already.

The usual SA retailer incompetence when it comes to pre-orders of big titles, there is always some issue. Hence why I avoid them like the plague, rather go with steam, gog, ect they never fail me.

yes but then it's so much more expensive.. R500 (CNA) vs R836.25 (Steam,$60) or R669.26 (GMG, $48)

If I am preordering I expect to play at launch day, the price is irrelevant with that. I will pay a premium if needed for that.

Ordering off GMG. Can't wait for the mods (never had issues unlike Hiro). Hoping to be able to downsample this badboy and keep it at 60fps.

I think I might be sleeping on the couch...our wedding anniversary is on the 10th....BUT! That means so much more fallout time!!!
I guess she'll forgive me in about a month or two...I hope... :wtf:

Sadly i'll still be at work when CNA delivers the game to my house (Hopefully on launch day). so i'll have to wait till i get home and then only install and download all the extra updates that are required... maybe i can get someone at home do it for me while i'm at work :p

Im hoping that takealot releases it early again. I have gotten all of my preorders one day early from them. So will give them a call on monday. Otherwise i will also only get to it on wednesday. Depending on how fast the patch etc downloads on tuesday.

I was on CNA's site, about to pre-order both Fallout and the SC expansion, when suddenly FO4's pre-order sold out :( Any other online store still have stock?

Anyone?

Please?

I wasn't the only one who noticed, right?

Anyway, I have 0 hype for this. I don't think I've ever played a Fallout game, and I still have New Vegas in my backlog.

Looks like the PC version has been sold out everywhere. Only option is to get it from Steam/GMG or wait until the 16th.

Wa my fokken preload!

I really really just want to start preloading so I can have peace of mind. If I'm not playing this on Tuesday morning I will cry. Bethesda better not cheap out and hold off until Monday.
