I'm installing the game on my PS4 now. The installer plays the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. videos that are already released on youtube. I hope more game companies do this kind of installer in the future. Much better than watching a progress bar. I felt excited for the game for the first time watching them again on my big screen.
 
Fucking idiots. I also ordered from them. But they dont want to tell me anything. I think the chick at the help desk is sick of my voice.

I opted for pickup. Cause i have always gotten all my ore orders a day early. Got a notification now that stock has arrived. So will be giving them a call shortly
 
25 minutes until it unlocks in Aus. Hopefully the VPN thing works and they haven't fixed it yet.
 
Just got my PC copy as well. Too bad I can't install it until after 00:00, unless I want to download the whole thinguploadfromtaptalk1447075671201.jpg
 
I'm pretty sure it only unlocks at 3 or 4AM for us here. At least according to the Steam countdown timer.

Please let us know your experience. Maybe just @ tag me cos I'm very curious as to how the gameplay, specifically aiming, works on console. Not too great at free aiming and hoping for some aim assists. Otherwise I might go for PC version.

I really wish I'd had ordered the PC version for keyboard/mouse usage, but the amount of time I'll be spending on the game, I want to be on my lazyboy. However, I _did_ just receive a miniITX PC that I'm gonna try out as a steambox... I'll let you know though.

that's my dilemma too. Would like to use keyboard and mouse, but the comfort of the lazy-boy and or couch makes me want to get it for console.

From what I've seen some devs from Bungie helped to work on the gunplay, so there should be some solid mechanics and aim assists.

Back in my day, "aim assist" was a derogatory term in games. "whistling:
 
Bad news folks, seems it's a buggy piece of shit. Reddit and the forums are filled with complaints about the game crashing every few minutes and it appears that if you're unlucky enough to be running an AMD GPU, you can't play at all. It just crashes at the intro for me.
