Fallout: New Vegas developer teases Project X

Let's just say, PLEASE let it not be Dungeon Siege 4. The last Dungeon Siege was the worst rpg in a long time.

Fallout 4 would be cool. Maybe a new Baldurs Gate game- that would be great. :D

I dont think it will be Fallout 4, the graphic does "feel" right. Though the ouroboros could be a metaphor the opening "war never changes" narration. This looks Hacky Slashy Fantasy to me. Though I would love to be proven wrong.

It's not Fallout 4, firstly the images and the words are from fantasy and something you wouldn't read/see in a Fallout game and secondly only Bethesda will develop numbered Fallout games.

I'm thinking 4 has some other meaning besides the fourth game.

But of course that's just my guess.

Hmm. I also just read now that Baldurs Gate III was never released after being announced in 2002, so I guess it won't be that then either :(.

Hopefully the 4 means something else than the 4th in a series. Because let's face it, DS III was really kak. If it's an action RPG, that's all good. I also hope that it might be something fresh for a change.

Lets just not forget the last orinal RPG project Obsidian gave us....

Eish.. Alpha protocol.. I remember being quite excited for that game, but after reading way too many negative reviews, I decided to give it a skip.

Ok, well, here's to hoping it's nothing like any of those bad games mentioned in the list of what they have under their belt. When I read that list, the only good one from that entire list was New Vegas. Neverwinter Nights was OK.

You mean NWN2 right? 1 was developed by BioWare

Ah, yes, I meant 1. That was OK. NWN2 was not a memorable game. Starting to get less and less excited to see what this Project X is going to be :p

So that's why I didn't hear much about it. Pity about them not putting the finishing touches on it. The game industry is really getting to be a cut throat business.

Well, if I had to put my money on it being a sequel to an existing franchise, I'm going to have to go with Dungeon Siege 4. The words kinda fit in a fantasy setting.

I don't care what it is. I'll get it anyway, love Obsidian games, even with all the bugs. The only one I don't like is Dungeon Siege III, so I'm kinda hoping it's not DS4, but if it is I'll try it before buying it. Anything else, I'll buy on the spot. IMO Obsidian is one of the best western RPG developers in the business. Sure their games may be buggy, but they really know how to tell a story. Loved KOTOR II, NWN 2, Alpha Protocol and most of all Fallout: New Vegas. Also really looking forward to South Park and Wheel of Time (if that's still happening).

Also, a lot of the people from Black Isle Studios are at Obsidian ...
