Or, in other words, "New Vegas is closer to the original Fallout lore than Fallout 3 was, so if it's a success don't expect our official sequel to compare" :rolleyes:

I can't wait for New Vegas. Show 'em how it's done, Obsidian!!!!
 
After the lack luster reception of Alpha Protocol, due in large part to design choices and bugs, I'll be waiting for reviews on this before I pick it up.
 
Sho, forgot this was made by the same people that made Alpha Protocol. That game really made me lol...it was 3D and yet the character seemed to only move at 90 degree angles to the world. What a waste of an amazing concept. Pah, lets hope someone else picks up the Spy/RPG idea.

Obsidian are also the ones who brought us Knights of the Old Republic 2. I like to use this example because, not unlike Fallout: New Vegas, it used the same (albeit updated) engine as its predecessor which was developed by another company (in this case, BioWare). KotOR2 was, in my humble opinion, a spectacular improvement on the original.

'tis a different team working on New Vegas than who worked on Alpha Protocol.

Obsidian might be a bit touch-and-go when it comes to developing their own engines, but when it comes to gameplay and story, they excel. I have no doubt that Obsidian will make a spectacular game which will put Fallout 3 to shame.

Anyway, I can't wait for my poker chips and deck of cards >:3
 
Thinking of pre-ordering mine from Kalahari.net, only downside is they get on on the 29th not the 22nd... :/ Free T-Shirt FTW though. :D
