You should take time typing, fry cry. Also, this is a review and discussion about far cry 2, not a review on Burnout Paradise.

I found far cry 2 quite fun, I never did finish it (my PC died 80% way through :() but I adopted the "make your own fun" and experimented with what I could do. The missions are boring and the speech dialog is poor [every talks to fast!].
 
I had all those enemy posts when driving, just to many.

Oh and I lol'd at fixing your car by tightening a screw.
 
Graphically the game was excellent but that's where it stopped for me...I didn't enjoy the repetitive enemy camps or the stupid idea of driving/running across the map to get a mission brief and then the mission would be on the other side of the map(Insanely annoying). 6/10
 
I enjoy Far Cry 2 honestly. It does have some points where it falls short, but overall I think its great, very playable and enjoyable. Graphics is very crisp on my Full HD TV :D
 
In short, yes

I really did not like FarCry.

FarCry2 is a totally different game, and to compare the two almost doesn't make sense. A different setting, story, characters, game engine and development team make it a completely different game IMO.

Agreed, they are very different games, however I loved the original Far Cry.
