Alex Hutchinson, creative director at Ubisoft Montreal, tweeted a message today to people having difficulties with the field of view in Far Cry 4 on PC.

hahaha I remember when mw2 also came out and people where complaining on the official forums about stuff and it turns out only if you pirated the game.

He's saying people are coming online (as in the forums online) to complain about the game not working properly, he's not implying they're playing online with pirated copies

That's pretty stupid - complaining about a pirated game on an online forum (for many reasons).
 
Already fixed though,not sure why they implement stuff like this when it's only going to get patched a few hours-days later.

If you look at it this way.Pirates fix a problem and release an update must faster then devs release fixes for their games. (i remember having an issue with bioshock not working,no patch to fix it after 3 weeks and i just decided to download a pirated patch to play it)

I'm guessing pirates don't need to check if its affected anything else.
 
I think the creative director needs to stop fucking around on twitter and fix the game.
The game is incredibly glitchy, random black screens, random artifacting, runs incredibly poor even on beastly pc's.
This game is as optimized as the ANC.

Nope, take all your money and then call you a thieving elitist whilst sitting in a fire pool drinking an expensive bottle of whiskey. Then when the people call to account for the money spent they will say the forum is a hostile environment and everyone should calm down.
