Favorite Movie Quotes

I saw yesterday that this thread of mine had been necro'd and it got me in the mood to bring it on over here .......

Do you ever find yourself repeating movie quotes in your daily situations ? I want to see what everyone's fave movie quote is and in what situation is has been used.
My favorite is still : "Hey, take it easy" from Nacho Libre and I literally used it a few times over the phone back then (hassles over bills, I'd say that and it would stun them / freak them out long enough for me to hang up the phone).

So post yours, lets see how many of you have used one in real life ........ and if not, well post anyway, I want to know what quotes stuck with you over the years.

Never used it in conversation, but one that has always stuck with me it:

Hogan 'Wash" Washburn - " I am a leaf on the wind, watch me soar"

From the movie Serenity.

Its hard to pick one line, but that one stuck with me. It is an uplifting saying even if he said it at a moment of crazy madness and imminent death.

Well it might be a bit cliche. But I love this movie quote from Dirty Dancing: "Nobody puts baby in a corner."

Aaaaaw it's so sweet!

"I'm a ship without a rudder, wind blows Northerly, I go North. But you fog things up. You always have. You spin me about.

I wish like hell you was elsewhere"

- Captain Tightpants.

I've always loved the series much, much more, but these two quote are what made the movie for me.

Hehehe Avatar, weirdly enough I loved the movie as well, it closed some of the series questions. I still can't watch the movie without bawling my eyes out. But the series is my all time favourite, there is just so many lines in both that I would quote it all if I could :P

Batman: Then why do you want to kill me?
Joker: I don’t want to kill you! What would I do without you? Go back to ripping off mob dealers? No, no, NO! No. You… you… complete me.
Batman: You’re garbage who kills for money.
Joker: Don’t talk like one of them. You’re not! Even if you’d like to be. To them, you’re just a freak, like me! They need you right now, but when they don’t, they’ll cast you out, like a leper! You see, their morals, their code, it’s a bad joke. Dropped at the first sign of trouble. They’re only as good as the world allows them to be. I’ll show you. When the chips are down, these… these civilized people, they’ll eat each other. See, I’m not a monster. I’m just ahead of the curve.

One of my favourites is: "English motherf***er! Do you speak it?!"

-- Samuel L. Jackson (Pulp Fiction)

“We’re paratroopers, we’re supposed to be surrounded.” - Major Richard D. Winters (Band of brothers)

I know its not a movie but its still my favourite line :)

I do quite like this one, not that I have yet had a reason to apply it to one specific real life situation .... but maybe someday

Every life is a riddle. The answer to mine is knowledge, born of darkness. It wasn't always so. In the beginning, I still had questions. In the beginning, my mystery still remained.

(from The Order)

Well mine is from LoTR, and it's more like a scene than a quote

Aragorn: Gentlemen! We do not stop 'til nightfall.
Pippin: But what about breakfast?
Aragorn: You've already had it.
Pippin: We've had one, yes. But what about second breakfast?
[Aragorn stares at him, then walks off.]
Merry: Don't think he knows about second breakfast, Pip.
Pippin: What about elevensies? Luncheon? Afternoon tea? Dinner? Supper? He knows about them, doesn't he?
Merry: I wouldn't count on it.

And also one from the movie Get Smart

"I missed it by that much"

"You went full-retard man, never go full retard." - Tropic Thunder

I actually use that one to tease someone that had a bad case of the brain-farts :p

From The Dark Knight: "Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn."
