Without music many of the media we enjoy today just won't have the same effect. Music is often an integral part of the entertainment.
Having said this -- who's music composition do you find a liking to. When hearing it, you can almost identify with the composer, so accustomed to grown to their style of music.
For me:
Brian Tyler:
Be it games or movies, you can pretty much spot his music, always have a sense of drama and intensity making what you're seeing more immersive.
Jeremy Soule:
Elder Scrolls would not be complete without this man's compositions. Its thematic and atmospheric tones keep you zoned in the fantasy world of The Elder Scrolls.
