Feature: EVE Online Part 1

I played a trial of this game a few years back and it was quite good. I gave up on MMO's though because it's a real time sucker.
 
I can see myself leaving WoW for titles such as Stargate Worlds and Star Wars: The old republic ... so I should maybe check this one out...

If only more of them could be billed once off like BF2 and Guild Wars :(
 
Well the cool part about Eve is that you can get 21 days free and you don't have to pay cent for the original acquisition.

the download is around 1.3Gb if im not mistaken, thats for the pretty version, the ugly one is like 600mb.

so if u have some extra cap sitting around, then I cant think of many better things to do with it.
 
I have a friend who swears by this game and has been trying to get me in on it. I don't know... I hate steep learning curves. All that means is you get squashed by people who have been playing for years. It brings back memories of first encounters with Horde when I was a WoW noob. I hated when they danced on my corspe...

I still cant believe our respective WOW careers never intersected. For shame.

Whatever man. As soon as I get a raise and can afford to get my very own ADSL line, it's on like Donkey Kong. And let's not forget who tried talking you into playing WoW. Not my fault you took your sweet time getting around to it
