Female Gamers

Hi Folks

Are there any females that are into Gaming whether it be on console, pc or even in the Arcades at shopping malls?

I'm one of them, used to game on the pc a little but now use the arcade at malls when i can.
 
There's a good few of them in this very forum. Perhaps some of them will grace your thread with their presence.
 
I'd prefer a sexless gaming scene where we are just gaming the games on which ever platform enjoying them and the company.

I am a PC gamer, mostly MMO's (LOTRO at present), but if I can afford it I try out quite a few games. :)

Like Matt said, there are few more female gamers around these parts

In an ideal world sure. Although I think there are probably a good few people on the forum that you don't know are actually female.

I for one am always happy to hear that more of the ladies are getting involved in gaming.

pc gamer here (and attempted xbox which failed miserably)
I prefer to just blend in with the guys when play, so sorta agree with Prophet, but the odd bantering can be fun :D

It would be quite funny if someone was to come in here and ask "Are there any female movie watchers here"...

I agree with you. It's just a past-time/hobby so why do we need any kind of division? :D Just my 2c. (If you pick them all up you can be rich one day!)

Lol, I must say, just the fact that this has to be pointed out kinda makes me ashamed to be a "gamer". I think I'm going to go take a shower now.

No, definitely, but there's a certain stereotype that I don't want to be part of. The one that makes people think that we're not normal people. That kinda irritates, and embarrass me at the same time. It's kinda like a secret club sometimes. :rolleyes:
