It's a trend. How many games have you finished recently?
That's still a few million people who finished the game, plenty of people to complain about the ending.Although yeah it is quite silly not to see these games through. Even while saying that I'm staring at my huge list of unfinished games on steam...
The internet the way it is I'm sure there were probably people shouting about the ending who didn't even own a copy of ME3.Yeah based on the March sales figures alone its about 1.47 million people who finished it. The question is of those 1.47 mill how many where those lambasting it from every direction? Peoples reason for disliking the ending is their own, I would just be curious to know in which part of the pie chart most of the hater lay.

I was generally surprised that people would blow a significant amount of cash on something they never want to finish. I certainly don't.
I don't people buy games they don't want to finish, it's just a case of eyes bigger than appetite.

We actually just had this conversation in the office - I think the only game I have which I haven't finished is Batman: Arkham City (don't even ask my why, because I don't know.)

True we all have backlogs, however the only games I can think off that I've bought and not finished and or traded before Finishing is RAGE & Space Marine. The Rest of my (Extensive) Back Log I have a every intention to finish.
The problem with 'playing' a game leaving it and then trying to come back is that you forget part of the story, some of the gameplay mechanics take a while to remember and you are usually in a part where you are already expected to be familiar with them.
