Fifa 10 vs PES 2010

Fifa 10 currently has a metascore of 92 - which probably makes it the best soccer game since roughly Pro Evo 3 on PS2 ... according to the critics at least.

After some bad years, the early news about PES 2010 seems to be good. Eurogamer, who is the best source on soccer games, gave it a positive preview. The return to simulation should work well, i think. And if licenses matter, PES doesn't have many, but they have the Champion's League.

Fifa 10 is out and PES is out soon. If you have any of these please post your thoughts. I'm not sure i can afford to buy both.
 
Fifa 10, is an extremely good game fst responsive. Realistic game play, freedom of movement. And I manage to finally get 5 RED cards in a match... Was almost impossible in Fifa 09.
 
TBH I love Fifa 10. I am really enjoying alot. Subtle changes have made the game way better. But PES looks good as well. Will need to test both before I can decide which is better.
 
Ok so I managed to get my hands on FIFA 10 and I'm amazed by it... I not only played it on PS3 but my brother bought it for PSP.... Quality is the same for both consoles... I reckon FIFA 10 is going to out do PES09 as EA seemed to have seriously increased their game and the way they develop sports games... I loved playing every second of FIFA 10 and I will continue to play it until the game breaks or something... :p
 
Ps3 fifa 10 is better than pes 2010

pes is kinda unrealstic coz u can dribble 4rm defence until u go score a goal with a single player...defence capabilties are too weak....and long range shooting is weak:confused...FIFA 10 is complete :confused::cool:

Ok well I have always found PES 2010 to be more chellenging than FIFA however EA has always supplied that little bit extra into the sporting side of their games... and I played the Demo for PES 2010 on PC using my Logitech PS3/PC controller and I enjoyed it.... u gotta weigh out the differences before concluding wat sucks about FIFA.... :rolleyes:
 
I have played Fifa10 and PES 2010. Both good games.

Fifa 10 Pro's......Licences, Stadiums, Crowd Chants, 360 dribbling, set plays
Fifa 10 Con's.....Commentary very repetitive, the gameplay is too easy, 1st season completed on legendary winning everything there is to win, the field looks very clay like, and the rain looks like it is more on the screen than realistic. GK come off their line too quickly and u can chip them all day long.

PES2010 Pro's ...... Graphics are awesome, Fifa does not come close to PES, Players, Fields, Rain. Cant score the same goals over and over (chip in Fifa).
PES2010 Con's...... Commentary not as good as Fifa, but if u heard all the same commentary in Fifa a difference is nice. Not all the teams are licenced, but when u playing a match, thats the last thing u worried about, u just wanna play.

After the 1st season on the most difficult level, and wining everything, FIFA doesnt seem like a challenge, it is now packed away. I will get more joy from the 3 or 4 seasons PES will keep me occupied for. Mates that dont play either of the games, find it easier to play PES than Fifa, with PES you think football and do, with Fifa you think buttons and how you know exactly what the button will do everytime you press it in a certain way - systematic.

Fifa is for gameplayers
PES is for Footballers
 
+1 on being able to score the same goals over and over on Fifa.
+1 on PES being more challenging.

I find PES more unpredictable and less calculated in a good way.
You can download PES option files created by the community which will put all the licensed bits in (players, kits, stadiums, logs, emblems, etc.).
 
Wait a second. PES2010 graphics are better than Fifa 2010? Wowsers...I saw FIFA2010 on a PS3 and it blew me away?
 
Been a Fifa fan for quite a while, however a personal belief and understanding is that ProEvo is looking much better this year compared to previous, and could have even surpassed Fifa's title (dare i say it)
