Fifa 17 vs PES 17

So after having a bit of a nightmare with fifa 16. Not being able to find online matches. Can't play friendlies with friends etc... I have thought about making the switch to PES this year. Just wondering if anyone here has been playing PES over fifa lately and What your experience is. Online gaming and other stuff. Or if you have changed from one to the other and how u feel about it etc. I've always owned the fifa series so PES will be new to me. Will be downloading the fifa demo tonight and the PES one if there is one.

Made the switch and been a PES fan since PES12 if I'm not mistaken. Definitely a better game mechanically. Sure the presentation of FIFA may be better, along with their licensing, that's not to say that PES isn't improving. Their player likeness though is uncanny, especially so in '17. You'd be making a wise choice to go with PES if you're into your soccer/football.

Console gamers I would say should go for PES. But PES on PC has been a bit of a joke the last few years, especially PES 2016 which ended up being a rubbish PS3 port instead of the version on the latest consoles. I haven't heard too much about the 2017 edition in that regard, but pc player reviews so far are not good and people are accusing it of being a ps3 port again.
 
Fifa 16 and 17 are on a new engine but since you played 16 I doubt 17 is going to be much more graphically than 16,but hay 17 now has managers. YAY?

Since PES got official licence a while back so the major difference between games is reduced greatly. Fifa 17 seems to have some single player career game that might be fun. Not seen if PES offers something similar.


The big kicker (hehe pun intended) is the price. I would go for PES just because of the ridiculous pricing from EA.
the recent increase is prices is just horrific.
 
The last FIFA I owned was fifa 12 on PS3. Spent some time over the weekend playing both demos and I think PES is a winner. Good pricing and easier gameplay i think. Only thing I hate about the demo as a first time PES player is that there is no tutorial help. You obviously have the help guide with all the info but a small video the way fifa has would have been awesome. What I'm doing at the moment is just pushing random buttons, seems to be working though

PES all the way. Been the better game for a long time imho. Also the fact that its R300 cheaper compared to fifa(talking pc verson, origin vs steam) makes a big big difference.

Nope I haven't. Closest I have gotten to PES was last years demo on ps4 and PES17 which I've played a bit more.

Cause I enjoy the fifa seasons online game mode. So wanna know what PES has to offer and how the online experience (latency etc) is for us in sa
