FIFA - XBOX360 vs PS3: A few specific questions

I have a few questions about FIFA on XBOX360 and PS3. So far I've played FIFA 8,9,10 and 11 on PS3 and while I am satisfied with the gameplay itself, I have a huge problem with the laggy menus and the navigation thereof. It's pathetic. Which brings me to my first question: Are the menus also so laggy on XBOX360?

As far as I know most if not all the big tournaments are held on the PS3 like the FIFA Interactive World Cup. I also know that there is a big local following on the PS3. Are there many locals playing it on XBOX360?

My last question is about the online modes. In my opinion playing online on PS3 is not that great. I have never played a game where it felt like playing local multiplayer. There is always that bit of input lag and as I only play the game on full manual settings it all but ruins the online play for me. How does the game run on live?

No replies sorry, but i think its the same with xbox. We play xbox at work and i play ps3 at home. I think the lagginess is due to it being connected to the psn network. I sometimes switch my router off when Im just playing locally.

As for online games, I played a few (50+) on FIFA 10 and just 3 in FIFA 11. There was definitely a lag which was extremely disappointing. I guess thats because PSN is free so u have more users unlike Xbox which u have to pay for.

AM keenly looking forward to the Demo of FIFA 12. MAybe we can play each other. my psn id is myjdjames too. so add me and lets test the online gameplay.

i have played it both consoles...menus are abit slow.. and sometimes abit hangy after replays and such. but i seen it happen on both consoles.
i am a PS3 fan so i stick to my PS3

when it comes other most games discussed on this forum, i have very little to add, so when this fifa related thread came along i seized the opportunity.
 
My friend has Fifa 11 but does not have the internet so when he comes over we have tried to have a couple games online but is a real waste of time if you not playing someone from SA.. Lag is pretty bad. I am using a one meg line uncapped. What line speed you running at?? and I have even opened ports for Fifa 11 on my rooter! And still, 1 small insignificant little bar.......
 
I have a 4MB ADSL connection. A very stable one as well with low pings around the country. The slow menus on the PS3 is insanely irritating and I was hoping to get some feedback regarding that on the Xbox. :)
