Finding old game?

So I played two games as a kid that stick in my mind...but I don't know the names. Perhaps someone here can assist given a noobish description

1) Win 95 era. You control a hovercraft that is distinctly triangular in shape. Either 1st person or 3rd person - probably 3rd given that I recall triangular shape. The map is a big (flat) maze type setup and there are opponents (also hovercraft) on the map that have to be outsmart by finding upgrades & I seem to recall that you can drop mines as well.

2) Platform shooter in a fantasy world...distinctly wizard vibe with bright colours & a definite magical theme. DOS/Win95 era. Super vague I know...

My guesses:

1. Hover!
2. Pandemonium

Hexen or Heretic, maybe?

Edit: Oh wait, platform, not first-person...

Was it isometric by any chance? Could be something like The Immortal or Castle of the Winds, or whatever.

Being a little more specific might help :)
