I'm in the same boat. Finished 6 games in Jan, none so far in Feb. although not because of the rugby. :p Bad habits starting again :/

I still need to finish my trello 'games that I have to play' list. There's so many... I currently just use it to keep track of the games that I have recently finished.
 
I haven't finished any games this year... Been too busy with work. I'm about 90% done with the Wings of Liberty campaign though! Should clock that by the end of this week.
 
Recently played all the missions in Breach and Clear, really sweet little game!

Also clocked The Bureau - XCOM Declassified. Wow, really not that great at all. But I paid cash monies for it and was not about to give up.

Currently have this on my shortlist:
Skyrim (nearly 100 hours with many characters but never finished main campaign)
Dead Island (also many hours but never clocked it)

Whilst I started with Zone of Enders HD remake, I got to the 2nd instalment, but never continued.

Started with NeverDead, almost done with this one but also stopped playing.

Finished Lego: Marvel Superheroes.

Now I am on Max Payne 3.

So how are you guys doing with your backlogs?

I've already played more games this year than the last. And would probably have played more if Diablo III and Dragon Age Inquisition didn't take up so much time this year.

At the moment my biggest problem comes in that I get 2 free XBox One games and 2 free XBox 360 games a month. And then I buy a bundle here and there and win a game or two and suddenly it looks like I'm still getting more games in than what I'm actually playing. Crazy!

Wow, I haven't updated this thing since forever. Sadly I've yet to finish most of the games in my original list, and I've added a whole bunch of new ones. :o

Oh well, I just play whatever I feel like now, I don't really give a damn about backlogs anymore.
