is it worth buying? BT Games has a great special but you must preorder....still deciding

pfft... I take it you haven't played Demon Souls or Dark Souls?!

IT IS ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT! BUT!!!!! you will learn to HATE it... then you'll love it :P
it's a game for some but not for everyone, either love it or hate it.

you joking, right? surely this is being said in jest. Demons Souls and Dark Souls were probably the most exquisitely balanced games to have been released in recent memory! you WILL make a sailor blush with the fruity language that spouts forth while playing this game. but every single time you die (oh and trust me, you WILL die. OVER. and OVER. and OVER) you will know its coz *you* were not good enough. Almost never coz the game is being cheap, but mainly coz you got arrogant and cocky.

in summary, YES, it IS worth buying :love:
 
Well not that much to go on, but that's for the better. :D

I already have my PS3 version pre-ordered (no PC release yet...) and now just counting down the days for release.
 
Gotta wait till the pc one releases but still hyped.

I actually haven't played demon souls. Think I should give that a go maybe. But Dark Souls, was just an irritation with the control system. Far too finicky for my liking. Could have just been me though?

assuming you talking about PC versin?! yeah, that was crap which is why I'm sticking to the console version (I won't be bamboozled).

I never actually played Demon Souls as I never knew about it when I got Dark Souls. But watched some friends playing etc.

Demon Souls was the birth place of the monster that is dark Souls you gotta check it out some people even prefer it to Dark Souls.

It was the PC version indeed. Will have a look for it on the PS4, but wont be on the top of my list just yet. Will wait to see what vids arise.

the PC version was said to be a terrible port. I played on XBOX and it was like LIQUID SILK SMEARED IN BUTTER ON A TEFLON COATED OIL SLICK! in other words, super fluid :-) you can pick up a console copy for peanuts.

Look, I understand they are focusing on a PC version (when they didn't even think about it for DS), but judging from the previous fuck up (excuse my language, but DS was on PC) I refuse to support the PC adaptation of this. Besides, I think it's a game created around the purpose of being played on console and I think it feels better and more fun this way.

It's a game that is meant to be played while lounging on the couch, cos you [emphasize]WILL[\emphasize] rage!!!

The game was smooth untill you got to Blight Town then things slowed down to a crawl the fps must have been in the teens and I played the superior ps3 version.:)

ok, i concede that Blight Town was a bit dicey. but in most other areas you could dive and roll and backstep with precision.
