First HD 4890 review goes live

Once again ATI kicking ass, best bang for your buck!
Did you mean to say GTX 275 or is it supposed to be GTX 285?

The HD 4890 is so close to the GTX 285 anyway at normal operation (and whips it when overclocked), it should definitely rape the GTX 275, right?

I did mean to say GTX 275. To call it a GTX 285 killer would be technically inaccurate I think as the GTX 285 is still a bit quicker at stock clock speeds.

I do believe that the HD 4890 will be a GTX 275 killer, but it remains to be seen, and more benchmarks need to be run on both cards to really make any conclusive statements.
 
I still vote Nvidia. You have to overclock this for it to beat Nvidia's competing cards for R900 more. Anyway, this seems like a monster of a card and I hope they come out here for something a bit more affordable than the 275
