First Intel Core i7-7700K benchmarks revealed - massive performance boost over Skylake

40% is a huge leap for a single generation. They haven't managed more than a 10-15% improvement for the past 3 generations. Will be interesting to see if the official benchmarks support this.

I see the click bait bullshit continues.
This is why you guys actually need someone that knows something about PC hardware...

The first benchmarks for Intel's new Kaby Lake Core i7-7700 processor have been revealed, and the results are impressive.

Who wrote this shit?

Revealed by who exactly? You make it sound like this is somehow official when it's not, not even close.

Kaby Lake is a refinement of Skylake. (IPC jump of maybe 10-12%), Much better memory controller ect.
They used Geekbench aka the worlds shittiest most inaccurate piece of crap benchmarking tool.

Honestly, just add a rumor tag to the thread title..

If CPUs grew at the rate that the manufacturers promise, we would have CPUs at least 1000 x faster today :)
