Fist bumps are more hygienic than handshakes and drastically reduce the risk of spreading infectious diseases, researchers in Britain have found.

The study discovered that a handshake transfers 10 times as much bacteria as a fist bump, following a series of tests at Aberystwyth University on the west coast of Wales.

Doctor Dave Whitworth, who led the research, said the study could have a serious impact on public health.

I normally fist bump instead of handshake, however, on professional grounds, it's common decency, otherwise I'd fist bump there too :)

That will never take off. One miscalculation and both bumpers could be in severe pain. The risk is just too high.

On a side note, don't google "crotch bump". There is a medical connotation as well, I just learned.

Oh dear. You said don't, but I did.

Perhaps we should all just never leave the house and avoid people altogether? Isn't that why we have the internet?
