Fist of Jesus

There's a GIF for that

Fist of Jesus is a hilarious gore beat’em up classic style arcade game with RPG depth.

Life of Brian meets gore and humor, in the game based on the epic award-winner short-film Fist of Jesus.

Fist of Jesus tells the adventures of Jesus and Judas, where the world is now full of Zombies caused by Lazarus’ resurrection. Cowboys, the Roman Army, Mythological Creatures and Steampunk technology in the 80's style, all packed with lots of fun.

It's a shame that their forums have been filled with trolls who believe that this is nothing but an attack on christianity. This is why we can't have nice things.

Christians (on this forum) may take offense to this naming of a game, and maybe the game itself.

nothing like a good old fisting from Jesus :) uhhmm....wait, hang on...that didn't come out right :-/

edit : typo :)

It's going to be controversial when you target a specific belief religion, we (Christians) are notoriously lacking in a sense of humor when you directly depict Jesus this way. The cut scenes seem deliberately provocative and silly.

One has to ask, would the game had any airtime if it had not had a religious link, and if the answer is no, then it is a cheap marketing tactic.

It's definitely a cheap marketing ploy and in poor taste if you ask me.

spot on. the game is simply trying to turn a quick buck by courting controversy. If this was called "Fists of James", it would be a non-event

I'm with you here. Seems on the Internet you can be most things but heaven help you if you say your Christian. Seems you can be anything on the Internet except Christian.

Especially MyBB. I'll refrain from expanding on the topic, because I'd hate for this thread (or forum) to turn into a flame war.

Seems like developers are running out of innovative ways to market games and are turning to controversy to sell their products. This is the second game-thread in a week that's bound to end up with TK proportions.
