Flash drive help

Hi guys, got quite a concern here

I bought 2 32 gig flash drives a couple days ago.

The one seems to have packed up as no computer is picking it up at all and the light on it isn't coming on.

The other one is in a FAT32 format, as far as I know a 32gig should be NTFS format.
The problem with this one is that it only copies at 1.5 megs / second no matter which usb port I plug it into and no matter what the size of the file I put onto it.
Now I am thinking that the reason of this is that it is in FAT32 format. When I try to change it to NTFS it goes into RAW format, and cannot complete a successful format if in NTFS.

Can anyone give me any suggestions as to how to fix the above problems?

I bought a flash drive from the-guys-on-the-side-of-the-road too. They don't work... Most of them. One out of every 5 might work or so. Mine copies files to the drive but when you try to open them, they will all be corrupt beyond recognition. Taking up place without any use.

Try sell it back to the guys :P I've had some fun with them like that. It is the best way to stop them from trying to sell you more junk.

Yeah from the side of the road. So looks like it is a useless paper weight. Anyways thanks for the help everyone.
Formatting still not working and all video files are corrupt when trying to play them from the flash drive.
