Hi Guys

Has anyone every tried x-plane? I ask because I am considering getting it in place of FSX. Hoping someone can tell me how it compares.

If you have spare cap to use then download the demo, you can play for 10 minutes before you need to restart the game. That should be a good indication of how the game is. I own FSX, but I've never even heard of plane x, that should tell you something.

I have meager cap so I still havent downloaded it. I know that its been used in a number of homebrew cockpits but havent yet met anyone local thats used it.

Now, now... I haven't heard of X-Plane either, so what. Doesn't mean anything.

Perhaps it is not as mainstream as you would like to believe it is?

I agree with you, I was a bit arrogant to think that - just because I've never heard of the game that its a bad or of lesser quality than other flight sims.

Saying that, most would agree that x plane came in low on the radar in terms of flight sims. Excuse the pun.
