Foo Fighters coming to SA!!

Excited as well... not their biggest fan but they are one of the biggest bands in the world right now, so I will have to go...
 
I'm not really into the whole "Mixed Martial Arts" scene i guess the excitement of this news flies over my head... :)
 
I am so pumped for this. I've been joking with my girlfriend for a few months now that I'll sell her to buy tickets to go see the FF whenever they come to SA. This morning, she was not really impressed with me.

i would love for them to open for foo fighters! but i think it will probably go to one of the newer rock acts out there that will be opening
 
I have a feeling aKing will be a choice, they are very much Foo Fighter-ish. I would prefer Fokofpolisiekar too though...
 
looks like its the Blk Jks that are the local act opening for foo fighters and kaiser chiefzs are the international act

As TBlaar said, the sound quality there is just horrible. Even standing right in front of the band you will struggle to hear the words and the music - I find their sound engineers rely on the music and not the vocals to keep the crowds happy. They leave the music to loud and then with the horrific acoustics the music just sounds terrible and the overall experience just leaves me feeling like why the hell did I just pay over R600 for decent tickets just to leave afterwards with my voice in tact, my body not sore from dancing, and pissed off for sitting 2 - 3 hours in a parking garage to get out of the venue.
