Forgettable game endings or memorable game endings.

Singularity was a pretty memorable ending imo. As for forgettable .... well, you don't see me listing any other games as memorable do you :p

Forgettable endings:
Mass Effect 3 (not bad, just meh)
The Secret of Monkey Island 2

Good endings:
The Walking Dead
To The Moon

Oh that reminds me, Syndicate was memorable for me too, besides the tedious boss fights, the game reminds me of ''Total Recall'' the movie

I can't believe that these games haven't been mentioned.

Best ending ever: Silent Hill 2 In Water ending. I cried. It was unbelievable. It made the game one of the best games that I've ever played.
2nd place: Braid. A lot has been written about Braid's ending: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/gaming/news/a284605/braid-ending-explained-by-jonathan-blow.html Wow.
3rd place: The Walking Dead. Another game that made me cry. It takes something really special to fill you with emotion and to make you care about its characters.

Kingdom of hearts endings is always great

Could you elaborate on why you would say that it is "always great"? I've never played Kingdom of Hearts and would like to know.

Also, what is your most forgettable game ending?

Forgettable:
Fallout 3 (If yo don't miss it completely)
Skyrim
Duke Nukem Forever

Great:
Witcher 1 + 2
Singularity
Portal 1 + 2
Bulletstorm
Batman Arkham City

Forgettable endings.... well I forgot em :D

Memorable game: Spec Ops: The line

Best ending ever came from a DLC and not the actual game and that is for Borderlands 2: Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep. Most emotional roller coaster ending ever.

Lol I forgot about that game completely. Left me feeling uncomfortable after I finished spec ops.

I second Spec Ops The Line. Finished it a couple weeks ago and kept googling alternative endings, explanations, the works. I havn't been so engaged in a game's story after completing it.

....looks like I'll have to get this now

I didn't read through the whole thread so not sure if somebody has mentioned this yet but the best ending in a videogame ever is that of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. It's actually more the epilogue than the ending, but it still counts. Second place would go the first inFAMOUS game's ending.

Only forgettable ending that comes to mind is that of the first Borderlands. Must be the worst ending in videogame history.

The GF and I finished the tiny Tina dlc on Sunday. Damn...was funny as hell.

Most memorable ending would be Final Fantasy 8. I know...

Most memorable:

The Last of Us
Tomb Raider
Final Fantasy X
Final Fantasy XIII

Most forgettable:

Assassin's Creed 3 (Love you Wlad :p:love:)
I think the majority of games I have played have had forgettable endings. None have really provoked me to think about what I just experienced, had me in awe or was just downright awesome.
