FortressCraft dev blames Minecraft community for DDoS attack

I've been looking through this guy's timeline today, and I really can't help but think people aren't being such a dick to him because his game is a blatant Minecraft clone. They're being dicks to him simply because he's being such a dick himself.

One thing I learned from the MC community when I played it, a lot of them are childish dicks and I myself saw 5 serious hacks (with a childish twist), so as much as this guy may be a clone, he has very good reason to be upset. It's not a good community image at all.

Indeed, but what I find upsetting is that he blames Notch for Minecraft's community. He somehow blames the actions of a few individuals within a community around 5,5 million people big, on Notch.

Is Notch supposed to flick all his fans on the nose and say 'No, bad fans. Leave the nice FortressCraft develoepr alone'. :p

If this FC developer just stopped reacting so angrily at anyone who says something bad about his game, he would catch a lot less flak. I bet the DDoS incident has more to with his attitude than with his game. There are countless other minecraft clones on XBLA, yet only his got targeted. I don't really think that's just a coincidence. XD

Edit: To clarify, I do agree with you on the MC community, though. Pretty much the same as the DotA/Counter-Strike community at times, if not worse.
