Forum Veterans welcoming the new guys.

I recently joined the forums with a smile thinking that I have found a place to talk to people who enjoy the same things and have the same hobbies.

Yet after posting a few times I was met with the post count and threats from a veteran forum member.

Here is his PM to me after I corrected him on his incorrect info on the Silent Hill Competition thread.

When the comp was launched it stated tat members with 50 posts or more were allowed to enter the comp.

I replied to it in the manner I saw fit,I did use some bad words but only because this person chose to pm me and that sort of got me mad.

Tinman new people join the forums and want to be welcomed by the community,not driven off with pitchforks just because they have an opinion on a matter.This kind of behaviour gives the mygaming community a bad reputation.I did not judge and I will continue posting with all the friendly people but if this "The Joker" stays his current course he will have to be dealt with.

Furion, the Joker is a good guy. We all have our bad days and he probably had one.

Rather keep these things private via private messages and then you, Joker and Tinman can sort things out.

The Joker is one of the friendliest guys you can meet on the internet. Sometimes we all get a little mad though and make mistakes. I can understand his frustration since we were all hoping that the person with the best avatar wins and not the person who is the most popular.

Tinman made us realize though that we were wrong in being hostile to new people and we accept that we were wrong. Give the Joker a chance though. He is a great guy. Rather let this thread be deleted and let these things be sorted out privately.

Can like to stir shit by any chance hmm :rolleyes: Pity the rule on MyBB that states that publishing PM's is a bannable offence isn't enforced here. Like Solitude said, Joker is one of the better chaps online ..... for all we know you're posting made up kak for the sake of stirring.

Some arbs are really making this site unpleasant lately ...... luckily we all know it'll be over once the competitions end again huh :rolleyes:

Don't just join and for the comps. You should join cause you are a gamer...

This server is generally really friendly. Let's keep it that way. I love everyone, except for Isengard, so you two should kiss and make up, maybe go out for some sushi <3
