Jip, we are now living in the world where new games cost R1k. I'll have to budget myself as to when I get the games I want, but Forza Horizon 3 will be a day one buy for me. I've unfortunately loved the series too much to miss out on this one.

lol nothing like that, just finally getting to a point where I'm nearing the finish line and I can smell home. I want it over with...

Urgh, does xbox hold regular sales like Steam? I doubt if I'll be able to justify R1k for this, but maybe a discounted prica at Xmas time might work..

They do have sales, but rarely it's on new games, and if a new game is added to the sales list, it's a special of about 15% or so. It's something at least. Their sales isn't close to the size and scope as Steam sales though. Keep track of any deals and specials in this thread. I'm sure someone will find the deal you are looking for.

I suppose it now makes sense to sub to that thread in spite of being a PC gamer. The times we live in! :eek:

Links in my OP are to the XBox web store... I'm thinking they're doing like they did Quantum Break. First only on XBox store, with download code for PC version...?

Let me try again... what I'm trying to say is that if you follow links from the Gaming on Windows section of the site (http://www.xbox.com/en-ZA/games/forza-horizon-3) it leads you back to the XBox One order page anyway. There's no separate Windows 10 game, they're all now marked "XBox Play Anywhere".

Oh, so this is one of those "buy one copy and get it on both platforms" scenario? Sorry then for my misunderstanding.
