Welcome fellow petrol heads

It's a new year, and as discussed last year, we will restart the unofficial Forza 6 Challenge at the start of this year.

Starting on Monday 18 January, we will host a weekly challenge for any and all forum members that would like to join us in posting the fastest times in Forza 6.

The concept is simple; each week a class and track will be selected. You have to post the fastest time you can on the specific track with any car up to the selected class.

So, here are some notes and rules:
  • All races will be done with the base Forza Motorsport 6 game
  • Each week a different participant will have the opportunity to create a challenge
  • Only clean laps will be taken into consideration for the leaderboards
  • Tuning is freely available in each challenge
  • All racers must post a screenshot of their best time after the conclusion of their laps
  • Challenges will be from Monday to Sunday
  • You are welcome to use any assists you feel most comfortable with
When creating a challenge, the following limits must be expressed by the challenger
  1. Maximum Car Class (e.g. Class A, Class C etc.)
  2. Selection of Cars (e.g. All Cars, Manufacture only, Model only etc, Type only etc.)
  3. Track for Challenge
PLEASE NOTE: When selecting a specific range of cars for the challenge, the challenger must clearly specify whether or not the cars are to be left STOCK (no upgrading OR tuning) or modified (tuning and upgrading allowed)

Once the week is completed, we will tally the times into a leaderboard THAT WILL BE SHARED ON THIS DOCUMENT. Details on the scoring system can be found there.

Please specify whether or not you will be partaking in the challenge by answering the poll attached. All results will be added to the leaderboard for this challenge.

So, gentleman and ladies, START YOUR ENGINES!!!!

AAAARRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH. I cocked up the poll again. Made it private. Shit!!!!! Okay, so just please indicate that you are partaking in the challenge in the thread please....

Maybe add the participants XBox gamertags in the first post too. Many don't have the same names here as on XBox. So

Urgh, I haven't slept in 3 days and it's affecting my typing ability.

I'll give until the end of the week then I'll release the challenger schedule. Start putting in some practice laps as next week we start.
 
I can't commit at this point to be an active participant, some weeks i might be in, some not, but i enjoyed the challenges we had up to now, my gamertag : platinumtemplar
 
If you are new to the forum or you are scared of us, don't be! I'm talking to all you lurkers out there. I know that some of you would like to participate. It will be fun. Come post here. :)
