I'll add a few additional timed laps in tonight. Trying to "get gud" by sticking to manual transmission without any other assists, and it's proving to be challenging. At the moment I'm just not as fast as I am with the assists and fully auto, but I keep on feeling I can go faster So hopefully my time can come down tonight.

I always keep this in mind. Traction control and other assist are available in the real world as well. ESPECIALLY in racing. So if you can do a lap quicker with Traction control or Stability on, then go for it. Manual tough is a must, I still want to get good at using the clutch as well :)

Welldone! Upgraded to 900? Still need to put a lap in with fully upgraded

Not sure hey... I haven't really given the Ferrari a full go. But for the moment the P1 is the quickest :D

The stock LaFerrari is much closer to R900 than the P1. Just with race tires the P1 is R884 and the LaF is R897 or somewhere around there. So the upgrade to R900 won't bring much I think for the LaFerrari?

Hmmm, I think you have a point there! The Ferrari is damn quick, I just battle to get it back up to speed after a corner, cleanly.

I haven't been able to play since Wednesday. Will do my best to put in a few laps this weekend!

[EDIT] [MENTION=16362]Flex[/MENTION], you weren't wrong hey, thought I'd monstered it! [MENTION=23139]McPhil[/MENTION] pulls in with another half a second off LOL!

On another note though, [MENTION=23139]McPhil[/MENTION]... welcome to the "Red side" of life :p. LaFerrari really is sooo good they named it twice x-D I'll try chase you down tomorrow... the Mrs is looking at me as if I'm nuts! LOL!

It was a busy weekend for me unfortunately but I doubt I would have been able to improve my time enough to beat Flex.
 
Yay I had the fastest time without any assist on. That P1 is an unruly beast without any traction control. Congrats to McPhil for another victory. Time for [MENTION=6280]Blazzok[/MENTION] to set us a new challenge for this week.

LOL, I even turned the ghost on to see where I was failing. At one point I was ahead all the way to the return back straight, but locked up the tyres into the right hander, and was screwed for the last 3 corners... that's when I bowed out. I'm just not gentle enough with the inputs! And [MENTION=23139]McPhil[/MENTION] has it nailed!! restekpa (Ali-G :p )
 
Oky, so here is the challenge. Because I love this car and it puts everyone on equal footing.

Track: Brands Hatch GP (Sunny)
Class: B
Car: 2005 BMW M3 stock only (no upgrades/tuning - should be 507). Of course you can change assists as you see fit.

Bonus challenge: Fastest time with zero assists. That means simulation steering, no ABS, No STM or TMC, No racing line, etc. (Not sure if this can be tracked if your "with assists" time is faster?)
