It's like driving on a skidpan! I might not go through with it cos the bonus challenge is for no assists and I was still doing laps with the braking line assist. So without that... :confused:
 
I think I got something like 1:46,9xx with nothing on. Which I thought is pretty good, as the next '05 M3 up is a B600 at around 1:41,xxx [EDIT] (before turning the console off at 6:30pm)
I'll try stick it out with nothing on until the weekend :p but you are right, it's like a skidpan lol!

Car: 2005 BMW M3 stock only (no upgrades/tuning - should be 507). Of course you can change assists as you see fit.

Bonus challenge: Fastest time with zero assists. That means simulation steering, no ABS, No STM or TMC, No racing line, etc. (Not sure if this can be tracked if your "with assists" time is faster?)

I haven't tried in a while. I also used to get that until the last time I tried when it actually worked.

Its similar to real life. When you drive a car without ABS, you don't slam down on the peddle. You press until the pedal is hard and no further. So with the controller you don't pull the trigger all the way, just enough to get close to 100% braking force. That said if you watch my replay I still managed to lock up slightly a few times on approach! :rolleyes:

I was telling [MENTION=9175]deadlypinecone[/MENTION] over the weekend, I believe STM will make this car slow as... because it has a natural tendency to hang its ass out slightly in the corners, and with STM on, it will constantly be on the brakes on at least one wheel...


[MENTION=16362]Flex[/MENTION], I do have you, but that Image was taken on Friday night. Some people hadn't put the time in yet! here's this mornings. (I was at work till 2:30am, so i'm still at home lol)
