google it, its usually pretty easy. Just did it with Metro last night. The FOV there is 45 and you get freakin motion sickness changed it to 75. Way better.

They should actually start including FOV sliders in the option menus because people are always changing the FOV.
 
An FOV of 80 degrees isn't too bad, way better than 60 which is far too low for a typical PC setup. I can understand why they would want to limit it slightly since you do get an advantage if you have a wider FOV due to being able to see more.

Console fanboys don't know how to use sliders, only buttons and thumbsticks. Lets not try and confuse the poor 'lil darlings. :D

Imagine if they actually made it so that you could play PC vs Console. I foresee many console being burned and wars started.

AhH,,, tried it in cod4 WOW looks weird,, but I can see it making a difference in gameplay...

You realise you are being a fanboy yourself saying silly comments like that. Not having an FOV option on console has nothing to do with the players abilities to use buttons but rather the consoles hardware limitations. The greater the FOV the more that is being rendered on screen, therefore the less the FPS. So in order to make things look better but still run reasonably they limit the FOV. That and of course the fact that the distances you sit from the TV as compared to a PC monitor, means a 60-70 FOV is about right.
 
You missed the point though. I understand the limitations of the TV screen and FOV. What I was really trying to say is that the game is made for console and ported to PC. Not like the good old days where they made it for PC only. The games like COD etc are mainly focused on the consoles.

PC gaming has taken a backseat in terms of gaming when it comes to the COD franchise
 
The term 'port' is rather misused at the moment. Most games people call ports aren't ports at all. And COD isn't ported to PC. Yes it may be largely designed with consoles in mind but it's not a port. The PC version of Black Ops 2 actually has it's own dev team which does the UI, match making, etc.

You made that "point" by insulting console gamers' collective intelligence.

I'm almost exclusively a console gamer these days, but for about twenty years before that, I was exclusively a PC gamer. I'm sure I'm not the only person who made the decision to move over to console for my own good reasons, and not because I'm too stupid to understand how pee-cee gaemz wurk.

Firstly, you taking this way too seriously, It was meant in jest. I too have a console and there are certain games I only play on console.
COD for me is a PC only game, always was and always will be. But i'm not going to get into a flame war. My intention was not to insult anyone. If that is how you understood, then i guess I am sorry. I'll go sit in the naughty corner and play with my mouse and keyboard.
