FPB blocking Diablo III from SA retail [April Fools]

It is unclear how this will affect copies of the game bought digitally.

I doubt it would have any effect on digital purchases lest the government decide to control our internet access too.

The problems I see with the FPB taking an interest in this, apart from arguing about what right they possibly have to tell us what we may and may not fucking purchase and spend (or risk) our money on, is that they might start using their brains and see it as "online gambling" which is illegal in South Africa (can't cut out the crony trough, now can we?).

Either way, if they screw up my CE, I will go apeshit on these scumbags.

On the plus side, I'd just import one. In which case my exclusive CE will be all the more exclusive >:3

Oh for fuck sakes...

I can't believe I fell for that...

Someone shoot me...

YOU GUYS STARTED TOO EARLY!

This is what I get for trusting MyGaming news :(

Thanks for reminding me to stay off the internet today least I accidentally shoot someone.

When I read "The FPB is consulting with the Department of Communication (DoC) regarding the real-money online auction" I knew they were talking bullshit, that's even before I clicked through to the story. The reserve bank would most likely have their panties in a knot, if anything, but since we have PayPal here now, I doubt they'll mind ;)

Good one! I still have to order though, but thought stuff it after seeing the headline. It was a trap.
