FREE 10GB trial account

Mine is downloading at the speed of a snail at the moment. Been having major issues the past 2 days again lol.
 
Im having major issues with both axxess my normal ISP and this web africa trial think my line is faulty AGAIN, downloads all time out do a speed test and i can "Download at a max of 5KB/sec" WTF :mad:

I have tried Web Africa, Telkom ISP and AfriHost now and they're all S***! Keeps dropping the connection, downloading at like a few bytes per second or at the most like half my linespeed. This has been going on for a few days now.

Here I was blaming Web Africa :mad:
 
and what details are in the router? Try enter one of the other ISP's into the router and 'remake' PPPOE connections for the other two and see if that changes anything.
 
I'm having similar problems, tested FTP speeds and I was getting max 5-9kb/sec per connection. They must be having some issues.
 
My mom's work is also having issues. I've restarted the router, reset it and numerous other things...alas no luck.
 
It has been quite a learning curve as quite a large percentage of our new infrastructure is cutting edge, and has not been previously deployed in South Africa. With this, LONG late night calls, to various vendors in different time zones, becomes par for the course!

We are however aiming to have all the remaining accounts released by the end of the weekend, and will afford trial users at least a week to use these.

Sigh I am capped :( I worked out I should have had 2gigs left after my download was done but now I am capped with 300megs still to go downloading at 20kbs on afrihost. WTF no idea how that happened. O well was fun while it lasted now I am back on local only.
 
Got mine an hour ago. Let the downloads begin!

Anyone mind helping me? I got the email, went to this page as It said to set up, but it won't let me enter the "192.168.1.254" number, it gives me some 504 Gateway Timeout error.

Is it just me being daft, or what?

Why not just create a PPPOE Connection on windows?
 
Because, I'm not clued up on all things(or anything) technical. I wouldn't know where to start.

2) Don't know?
3) Never tried
 
You iz not alone .... a lot of people just couldn't sign up for some reason. I tried like 50 times (no over-exaggeration) about midway through the process and had no luck.
