I'm thinking Battlefield 3, but I don't want to buy any of the expansions, and I'm worried that without the expansions no one is going to be playing.

Fact... people only play expansions for the first month or so that its out then back to vanilla.

I got Sim City today and opted for BF3. While I was there I got Crysis 3 from the sale.
