Free Game Screenshots

I am looking for some free software to take screenshots of Dead Space.
I have tried Taksi, but am not having any success with it.

Just press 'Print Screen' then alt+tab and open paint or any imaging program and ctrl+v it. Save as what ever format you choose and done .

Thanks, Isengard, but not so great if one wants to take multiple shots without having to hop in and out of a game.

Fraps is a good idea, Xfire i think has the option also.

I think Xfire would be one of the better options, as you can adjust the binding used to take a screenshot. and it offers you a place to upload the screenshots to.

Thanks, Isengard, but not so great if one wants to take multiple shots without having to hop in and out of a game.

I've taken multiple screenshots in Fallout3 using that method without hopping in and out of game ....... they get saved in the Fallout3 folder. Wouldn't Deadspace do the same?

I would recommend fraps. Its a small download and is a very trim and neat little app. Its primary use is displaying framerates in games and benchmarks, but it also does a great job of taking screens.

Xfire is your friend you can take videos too. It's completely free.

I always made use of xfire ... the video on it is amazing (cept it kills your hdd space), but lately I just Prntscr button everything. :/
