Amazon has $110 android apps free.

If you dont have star command and enjoyed FTL then go grab this game! It's excellent. Not as punishing because you can save but I think I've finished it half a dozen times already.

Don't think so no, but they give away so many apps it's a small price to pay. I think I've got over 300 apps in my account at the moment.

Edit- once you've installed the game you could probably delete the amazon app if you wanted to. It's not like steam, it doesn't need to be running in the background.
