This is maybe the wrong thread to ask this question. I got a mail from Kalipso, the guys who make the Tropico games, and on the letter I see this:

The question is: Isn't demos always free or have a slipped, hit my head on a rock, passed out and woke up in "You now pay for demos" world.

Likely just marketing buzzwords. Yeah, demos are always free... its not the first time I've seen them throw in the word "free" to something that wouldn't cost anything anyway just to get your attention

yeah, free. Like when you search for free software, they come with "Free download". But the software still costs something. I, out of principle, never support companies that advertise like that.

No problem- I'm loving Amazon's free apps. If you haven't already, you can bookmark this link for the free app of the day, and just go back every morning to see what's on offer. I probably have 300+ titles in my account already.
You can then use Andy or Blue stacks to run them on your PC. I haven't tried it yet, but I would love to try banner saga and baldur's gate on my pc.
