Hi all,

Im one of those people who must constantly be learning something new in I.T, or any other interesting subject, to prevent from being bored, (yes i suffered from ADD,and OCD as a youngster, but have it pretty much under control now :) ) so am always on the lookout for new sources of knowledge, as such, my latest brain fart being learning to code java. While doing some searching, I came upon this:

http://www.javacodegeeks.com/2013/01/15-online-learning-websites-that-you-should-check-out.html

When browsing through some of the offerings, I think there may be some real gems in there...I hevtn gone in depth in them but had a good quick look.Plus I love learning for free :D

Lemme know what you think ;)

To expand on your knowledge, might I suggest you use more descriptive and useful thread titles.

"Free Java coding learning resources" is far more informative and will possibly be discovered via Google by others searching for such a thing.

I can vouch for almost every one of those sites.
As a developer you learn every single day. Having good resources at your disposal is key.
As such something that is second nature to developers that is not often mentioned much like google IS search:
http://stackoverflow.com for Q&A. Have a question? Get the answer there. It's also not limited to dev now that other stacks have started popping up.

I agree with your comment James, however the link actually opens up to a number of learning channels not just Java, hence my choice of heading ;) They teach all sorts of things for free
I found it while looking for Java code learning sites ;) I never even think about google search engine when posting stuff here :wtf: LOL

@ Pyro, yeah I have come across that site as well, but will get some more info before asking stupid questions there :D

Damn, now im gonna have same issue as games....too many games and not enurenough time :( To much to learn and not enough time to game and learn everything! :D

**Edit**

Ok watched some of the video, apparently you get certificates at the end if you pass exams! Some may actually be worth University points! I love to learn new things....this is actually very exciting....now to find some time to try one of the courses...the one on Cyber security and Human rights look very interesing, as Cyber Security is my current field of study...

Thanks Spartan!
