Free prestige token in MW3

So basically, in Modern Warfare 3, every time you prestige you earn a prestige token. But now, long time players are being rewarded as well. So if you’ve ever prestiged in Call Of Duty 4, World At War, Modern Warfare 2, Or Black Ops, you’ll receive a prestige token for each game on day 1. For example: if you decided to prestige in CoD 4 and Black Ops, but skipped it in WaW and MW2, then you’ll start with 2 prestige tokens.

If you have yet to prestige in Black Ops or Modern Warfare 2, you’ll get the chance to get some prestige tokens added to your name with the help of double XP! Starting this Friday, the Double XP will run through the weekend and end on Tuesday, November 1st.

I'm very close to my 1st prestige in COD:BO, so hopefully one token for me at launch.

Anyone else trying for a token?

The video explains it in detail, basically a token can be used to unlock features like double xp for 2 hours etc.

Cod4 prestige is only available in the console versions, same prestige procedure as all the others.
 
I'm on lvl 40 at the moment.. Really going to have to destroy it to get prestige this weekend.. Luckily it double XP..:D
 
I thought for a second this post was about a prestige edition for MW3 :P I'm still disappointed that we are only getting the standard edition in South Africa :(

On lvl 9 prestige now for BLOPS, which is the furthest I've prestiged for any COD game. Went to lvl2 on WaW and MW2. Doubt I'll be going any further now that BF3 is out and MW3 is around the corner.
 
I'm on level 51 on Black Ops (PS3) but when i played and tried to get to lvl 52 it just stopped accumulating XP??? Is lvl 51 the highest?

Yes.. After 50 u go into 1st prestige and then u can unlock prestige..

edit:

i got my prestige on sunday.. :) so yey.. that double XP got me all the way up to 20 again afterwards.. :p :D

Managed to prestige in BLOPS, just couldnt get my last 3 lvls in MW2, I tried to play more but BF3 is just too awesome. I would say its a weird coincidence that they chose the BF3 launch weekend to do the douple xp token thing, then again knowing infinity ward they did it on purpose, they are sneaky like that.
 
I have prestiged a number of times in different COD games. I have no idea how many tokens I'll get but lets hope it's a few. I know of a few people who have basically fully prestiged in ALL the COD games from COD4 to BLOPS. I wonder how many they will get. :P Like they need the added advantage..
