Free-to-play Path of Exile launched

Cool game, just need to get mine down again, last played back in Feb so there going to be a lot of new things for me.

Love the fact that its "Pay to look" not "Pay to win", well you can also buy bag space(Picked up some when I played).

Yeah the microtransactions are handled well. You can essentially just support the devs by buying some weapon effect.
 
I think the microtransactions are far too expensive. $18 for a lightning effect. $17.50 for bloody footprints.

The only transactions I'd be interested in now are the extra stash slots and character slots.

They need more cosmetic item options, and they need to be cheaper, IMO. I'm definitely not buying any cosmetic items at those prices, but if they were like, $1 - $2 I'd probably buy quite a few.

Oh well - the game itself looks awesome so I hope to see you guys in there! I assume everyone is joining the EU servers?

Yup EU servers. They are a bit pricey, but I dropped $10 in support - but I with that I can buy an axe effect and a pet frog. :p
But the game is awesome, looks and sounds great.

I don't mind the prices, (it makes it more special to have one) what I do have a problem with is the fact that they only acknowledge beta supporters that bought specific packs.

I bought 3 extra stash and 2 weapon effects and a pet, back when the game was in its infancy and will get no acknowledgement, purely because I didn't buy specific packs that came out for only a short time of the games development.

In short, what about people like me that tested your game for 2 years and even paid for that privilege to sit through character resets and all.
