With all of these new games coming out, it makes you wonder how your PC will handle them.

To answer that:
Game Debate

There's no need to register to check if your PC will be able to run a certain game, but registering does make it much faster and add a few features that you wouldn't get otherwise. There's also comparisons of hardware helping you make a decision with those future upgrades :)

Hehe, I haven't really looked at system specs on a game in years. Nowadays games are so well optimized for such a vast variety of systems, you barely have to worry about it. Unless you're running a PC that was outdated in 2008 already. :p

I mainly check it to compare how well my current hardware stacks up to the newer and more high-end parts. :P

Misleading title, I was hoping for an actual debate, especially with Graal responding first :D
Haha oops, the name seems so normal already didn't even notice that.

The rate at which it is required to upgrade your PC to continue gaming has decreased tremendously over the last 5 years or so. Before that an upgrade was almost necessary every year, or best case every second year.

never had a issue with running any game so far. But i do want to upgrade my GPU and ram

Haha I always want to upgrade my GPU but the budget :p

Agreed I'll be sticking with my CPU until there's a need for more than a quad core. After Sandy Bridge I haven't seen anything worth upgrading to.

Yep, the last time I upgraded was out of necessity or I would probably still be using my Q6600. They stole my PC :(

What he said

But since adding a second 5870 to my rig, i never have a problem

Two words: Console exclusives.

Another two words: Console ports.

Ironically, the ports might get better now since they using x86.
Just as long as it has 1:1 gamepad support I'll be good. But there might be a problem.

Since PS4 is the obvious choice, will the XboX360 controller for PC still be supported?

This is what I'm hoping for, better pc ports. I've been planning to use an xbox controller for pc as well, or are there other controls that would be better?

Incredible corruption and BT games have the controller with the receiver in store. Otherwise check pricecheck for the "xbox 360 controller for windows" but I have yet to see the receiver alone. If you just need the receiver then buy the combo and then sell the controller on gumtree or something.
