Glad to see my 2 favourite games of 2013 battling it out for GOTY. Both very deserving titles and I definitely underestimated the impact the new TR had on the gaming community.

I have a feeling Tomb Raider's gonna win, due to its availability on multiple platforms.

But The Last of Us is keeping pace with it, which says a lot about a game that is a PS3 exclusive on a forum that is mainly PC gamers
 
Saint_Dee Please stop spamming the forum with all of these polls.

Very annoying to just see poll under poll under poll. Plus spamming for comps is not allowed.

If i have made a mistake plz just tell me wrong

He creates these poll every year, and we've actually asked him to do it. He's not spamming for the comp, I can assure you of this. After the polls are done, James usually writes a article about it as well.

Hmm... I'm not going to lie, I don't know what to make of this post and the assumptions about me that fueled it :confused:

EDIT: Anyway, with the recent comp I guess tensions are high :D. Last year I wrote an awards piece based on similar polls posted by James. Long story short, James approves and I'm not spamming for competitions (didn't realize there was another competition until you mentioned it :p).

It appears I've left out a category that caters to the separate platforms. I'll put up a quick nomination thread for the best games of each platform. I just need to figure out the structure because I don't exactly want to churn out 3(x2) more threads because of the nomination and voting format.
 
Going with Womb Raider! Havent played some of the others, but can't believe it that Battolfield 3.2 made it too the list :eek:

Ok, I apollogise for that remark then. I did not realise that James approved of these polls and that you were not spamming for the comps.

Shocked that GTA V wasn't first. Tomb Raider is an amazing game to be sure; and the Last of Us is pretty much the epitome the emotionally evocative gaming. However GTA V was something that could be stamped in a dictionary next to the definition of a Video Game. This is the purest expression to date of what I believe gaming is about last year.

GTA V might be my game of the year this year, if it comes out on PC. Will have to wait and see, I guess. Hopefully it's worth all the hype, but I have spoken to people who think it's merely okay.
 
I agree that GTA5 is a great game, but I voted for AC4 as I honestly think that is was a much better game for me. GTA is a close second though.
