I think all models of the Kindle have a browser. The grayscale display on the paperwhite might not be the most appealing to most people for browsing though.

I've got a question. I'm enjoying the tv series a lot and at times I wonder if I should read the books but I'm worried that it will spoil the tv series for me.

Those who have read the books. Don't you find it annoying that you know what's going to happen?

Well part of the fun is knowing what is about to occur but seeing HOW they choose tom implement it. In some ways knowledge of a scene can enhance it because you can notice all the nuances in the scene without the distraction of surprise
