Is it just me , or do the reviews on this site seem a bit churned out. I believe this is quite a new site but just writing content for the sake of content is kind of lazy.

Where are the FPS , AA graphs , etc etc. I wonder if the person(s) reviewing the game actually played it :P

Hopefully not starting a flaming war..... *evil grin*
 
Oh Vexed.

Many of the reviews currently on this site are taken from NAG magazine through a syndication deal.

I personally reviewed Far Cry 2 and World of Goo. We also reviewed COD5 in house.

We could not review the entire backlog of games that have spewed forth over the past few months, so we approached NAG and made a deal. This was done so that we could at least have a decent backlog of content for people to read.

We will be pushing our own content as time goes by, but as you say, it does not pay to churn reviews out. The NAG review team is a very experienced lot, and we doubt they "churn" out reviews.

I will take your comment on board in regards to future reviews.

I've read your reviews and must say the writing style is technical yet engaging enough for a layman to understand. With regards to the "deal" I hope we will be seeing more original content and not just another failed custompcsa.co.za clone :)

Maybe another suggestion , and I know you are probably inundated with requests , flames , rants and raves but maybe some actual screen shots of games reviewed and later some walkthroughs.

Just my 2c.

Thank you for the positive comments on my reviews, I appreciate that.

The coolest thing about this job is reviewing games. So I will make every endeavor to review as much as I can, and keep the reviews as informative and technical as possible without becoming too convoluted.

And as for walkthroughs, they are definitely planned.

SOme of the reviews do have screen shots, but I will make sure they all do, and make sure they at least each have 4 from now on.

Yeah this site has alot of potential to be the best gaming site this side of Africa. Lets all hope it lives to its expectations.
