Game room setup

Suppose you made mad coin....how would you set up your game room?

i.e. The usual "build your ultimate PC" question except with a focus on the physical room etc rather than what GPU.

Some kind of 4k projector perhaps?

How fantastic would it be if you had 3 4k projectors - one for the front wall, one for the left wall and one for the right [emoji24]

From reading Solitude VR experience thread I would think that you want a decently sized room without any obvious things to injure yourself with/on.

My next house I'll make sure that its got a vr room. :D Hopefully by then they'll have headsets that don't need cables.

Okay, so my ideal game room is the following:

At the one side of the room there is a big sturdy desk, upon which 3 27 inch IPS 4K screens stand. Under the desk is a powerful monster of a PC, with all the latest and greatest components to drive those screens. A big, high back office chair stands in front of the desk. On the right is a HOTAS setup, and on the left a full racing wheel setup. Each ready to move into place in front of the screens once they are needed.

The room has enough space for the VR sensors and VR setup, with a little dark blue mat on the floor. There are sound dampers on all the walls, and each corner of the house has one of the Bang&Oelofsen 7.1 speaker system. There are a square setup of those small fairy lights in the ceiling.
