Game Saving

So I'm playing Morrowind... and I got a new HDD so needed to reinstall Windows, backup the game folder, put it on my new Windows and think OH CRAP I DIDN'T BACKUP THE SAVES!!!!!

Then I look in the directory and AHHHHHHHHHHhhhh relief... The saves are in the directory.

I hate it so much when the game puts the save files in another part of your pc.

Know the feeling all to well thats why I moved my doc folder to a different hdd so never lose them.

I'm so glad about Steam's cloud saving feature, I only wish more games supported it.

I usually back up my games on my portable hardrive so I never have to face those problems, but least my online games have the saves on server side.

Yeah its very cool. Though sometimes when I exit a game it takes forever upload.

Sounds like a cool feature never used it... Although I doubt Morrowind supports that.

I do not know how trusthworthy this really is. If I was to format I would make sure I backup stuff like my borderlands 2 save etc.
